EXTREME COUPONER GETS TOLD BY AWESOME MANAGERSusan Samtur's Coupon/Refund Site
From LaserSpawn:
OMG! Sunday, a few hours after posting the story about the NATs on Facebook, I got called in to work.
Around 8pm, I had a couponer, like the ones you see on that damn tv show, only without the cameras. She had essentially shut my register down for over an hour while my boss(who I shall call Awesome Possum) and I helped her check out.
Now Awesome Possum came up about half an hour into me checking her out to help bag. Ten minutes later, Awesome Possum tells Couponer that the next time she comes to the store, we wont be able to check her out in multiple transactions.
Couponer is all like, "I do this all the time! ASDFGHJKL;"
Awesome Possum then tells her, "We won't do it because it's not fair to the other customers in the store who are trying to check out as well as it's not fair to the employees who have to push back their breaks until they finish checking you out."
Couponer and Awesome Possum continue their "banter" for a couple more minutes until Couponer goes, "ASDFGHJKL;! These cereals arent coming up the right price!!!"
We then tell her she bought the smaller size box, which is not on sale. Awesome Possum then goes to get the size that IS on sale.
While Awesome Possum is gone, Couponer tells me, "She was being snobby. She doesn't need to be that way."
To which I'm thinking, "She's being that way because you can't read and you're bitching us out because of it."
When she returns, Couponer is all like, "But all these cereals have the sale price!"
At this time, Awesome Possum starts bagging again. She asks Couponer if she'd like all of the cereals to be exchanged. Couponer says yes. Awesome Possum then asks if I had had a break yet, to which I reply no. She takes over, telling me to go to my break because I'd been here long enough.
When I come back from my break, Couponer was gone. (Thank you, Lady Gaga!)
I was so glad that Awesome Possum stood up to her about that because I was genuinely being nice to Couponer at first, but as we were checking her out, I found myself "playing" nice(I want to keep my job, y'know) because of her inability to read and general selfishness.
Until next time,
