Well see, my husband he was killed in a huntin axdent an I wanted pitchurs of our baby with his last huntin troffee. I thinks the fotagrafer did an exlent job at it.
When I saw this, I had to go back and look to realize there were antlers in here. I was stuck on the crappy overexposure and what appears to be some semblance of a high pass filter way the eff overdone…
oh my, I don’t even know where to start with what’s wrong with that.
I can usually find something nearly good in a photo (if I look really, really hard) but I have failed with this one.
WTH!? why is this poor child surrounded by sticks…. or deer antlers?! I mean its great that you are white trash, but is it necessary to display that in her infant portraits?! AWFUL, not to mention the “hdr-ish” look they have going on…. lovely!
Come on people – including the site owner – focus (pun intended) on the technical aspects of the photo, not on the setting or props. Maybe dad is a big game hunter or a taxidermist or maybe mom is – but whatever – that isn’t our (or the fauxtographer’s) problem.
Not everyone has your taste and style – deal with it.
The real problems with this image are: bad color, bad lighting and slightly snap shot like composition. Fix that and you’d have an acceptable baby photo.
Dave – I know where you’re going with that and all but the most important technical aspect of the photo begins with the composition and the idea itself. If that is flawed (or nonexistent in this case) how can you even begin to dealwith the overexposure, poor editing and everything else?
