Edit this one

Mommies are awesome and super-womyn and will do what it takes, usually without bitching too much about it. So where does anyone get off telling this mommie-to-be that what she did wasn't so very spectacular because she wasn't "really" upside down, just a super-extreme form of Trendelenburg? Check out the picture on the Wiki page: Looks plenty uncomfortable to me!
But what do I know? I'm the one who groused so much about plain old bed rest when my son started to be born three months early, thought I couldn't do it, wanted to be outside gardening, or cleaning house or something!
He turned out really, really well, but it was frankly harder to spend a big chunk of the day for ten weeks in the NICU and other chunks breast-pumping to get him his noms! Such little packets of milk, but it was all he got, because he never was able to latch on and nurse IRL.
